Default Minimize Outlook 2007

I recently installed Office 2007. When I have Outlook 2007 open and I want to
minimize it, I press the minimize button, Outlook starts to minimize then
closes. What can I do to correct this?

Are you sure it closes or does it minimize to the system notification area
by your clock?

Well it seems you hit the nail on the head. I looked in the notification area
and it was checked as "hide when minimized". I unchecked it and 4 copies of
outlook opened up. Thanks for your reply.
