Hi all,

When I open my adress-book in Outlook every e-mail adrress has data in the
field "Full name" ,however when I export this list or when I link it to my
access database the data in "Full name" is nowhere to be found? Can somebody
tell me how I can retrieve this data so I can store it in my Database!

Thanks in advance!

The Outllook address book is simply a filtered view of Contacts (those that
have a mail address or fax)
Allthough this may depend on the version of Outllook which you dont mention

DL,

I use Outlook 2003 , can you tell me how to retrieve the names in the "Full
name" field, because its very important for me to have the "real names" that
belong to the e-mail adresses!

Thanks

make a custom view with the fields you need and copy - then paste into
notepad or where ever.
The method is he http://www.slipstick.com/Tutorials/copyto/excel.htm

Hi Diane,
One problem with copyto excel is that you can't do this for the Message field.
I assume copy/paste uses the paragraph symbol for end of field and thus if
you include the Message field in the copy/paste into excel, each line of the
Message field is pasted as a separate row. Any other way to do this and
include the Message field?
