How to lock items?
What I want to do is to select an object or paragraph and prevent it being
moved or edited. In other packages I use this is called lock, but maybe it called something else in publisher. It is a standard feature in most dtp packages as it prevents aligned objects being moved or checked text being amended in error. Could you please confirm whether this can be done in any way in publisher and if so how. |

There is no way you can lock a Publisher file. Think about putting the things
you don't want edited on the master page, group them, put a rectangle around the page and bring the rectangle to the front. -- Mary Sauer MSFT MVP http://office.microsoft.com/ http://msauer.mvps.org/ news://msnews.microsoft.com "Nosra" wrote in message ...
