Office XP Error 25003
I am trying to install Office XP Professional on my
Windows XP Home SP2 laptop. Everything is fine until just over half way through installation when I get the following message: "Error 25003. Microsoft Office setup cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted" I know the CD is ok as I successfully installed it on a Windows 98 desktop PC in the past. I have also tried a different disc on my Windows XP laptop with no success, and even copying the contents of the CD to my hard disk and installing from there but still no joy. The suggestions made by Microsoft on the relevant website to remedy the problem have had no effect whatsoever. I have trawled the internet for a solution but although lots of other people seem to be experiencing the same problem nobody seems to know what to do. Can someone here please help me as I'm at my wits end! Many thanks in advance Chris |
