Sure you can. You can convert anything to a .pdf. Well, not the pet dog, of
course, but it's it's a file on a computer, it can be done. ;-) -- JoAnn Paules Microsoft MVP - Publisher How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "Peter Foldes" wrote in message ... joel You cannot convert an image file to PDF. Yes, but depending on what you are doing with those documents, you may have
other alternatives. -- JoAnn Paules Microsoft MVP - Publisher How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 "joel" wrote in message ... Hi, I had some documents scanned...Can I convert the image (jpeg) into a PDF file? Thanks in advance.. Joel |

Converting JPEG file to PDF
This question really has nothing to do with Office applications.
However, if you're using Office 2007, you can use the new Save as PDF option. First download and install the PDF utility from microsoft.com. Then insert the JPGs into a Word document or a PowerPoint file -- or even into an Excel file if you want. Then Save as PDF. -- Echo S [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PowerPoint 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/power...noy/index.html PPTLive! That is correct Echo. It can be done like that. But taking a jpeg image file and converting the jpeg to an actual PDF file does not go. You need to insert the image to a text file like Word or Power Point and then saving that Word or PP as PDF will work. But not the image itself.

Converting JPEG file to PDF
Whatever. If the user's goal is to get from JPG to PDF, then it's one way to
do it. I don't particularly care that the user didn't phrase his question quite correctly. Besides, they should also be able to open the JPG in an image editor and then print to the PDF driver. That would also qualify as "converting" in my book. -- Echo S [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PowerPoint 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/power...noy/index.html PPTLive!
