Overline the sum instead of underline the number
I many times need to add additional numbers to the bottom of a column
of numbers that I'm summing. When I do this, I always have to reformat so the underline is at the new last number instead of at the original last number. Is there a way to "overline" the sum instead of underline the last number? I know that I can do this using borders, but I want to be able to actually use an underline with the accounting format. |

Overline the sum instead of underline the number
Try this:
ToolsCustomizeCommands tab Category: Format Commands: (Find the Top Border icon) Drag that icon to another toolbar. Click the [Close] button The next time you need the top line...just click that button. Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron XL2002, WinXP-Pro "Buffgirl71" wrote: I many times need to add additional numbers to the bottom of a column of numbers that I'm summing.
