Default Margin Problem

I am trying to make a document
with margins of 1/4 inch on all four sides
then i am trying to add a table
that will be two rows by two columns that will fill up the page
so it would be colum width of four and a height of 5.25

for some reason though this creats a new page and cuts my table in half

i dont understand why unless i did my math wrong for a 8.5 X 11 sheet of
paper i do not see why this should not work ?

Thanks For Your Help

You need to change your header and footer margins to 0". You also need to
set the table cell margins to 0".
