How do I turn off these formatting markings in Pub 2003?
This is hard to explain but on the copy of the Pub document I am working on-
my text is littered with what seems to be formatting markings, such as a dot when I hit the "space bar" and the indentation mark when I hit "enter". These marks do not show up in Print Preview, so it is not a big deal in the end, but they are seriously disrupting my work. Does anyone know what I am complaining about and can help? Thank you |

Find the Special Character icon (ΒΆ) on the toolbar, give it a click.

Although you are using Publisher, Word MVP Suzanne Barnhill has a great
article about them and why they can be useful. http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Benjamin" wrote in message news This is hard to explain but on the copy of the Pub document I am working on- my text is littered with what seems to be formatting markings, such as a dot when I hit the "space bar" and the indentation mark when I hit "enter".
