printing a booklet
Hi all,
I'm creating a booklet to go into a CD jewel case. A jewel case is 4.75"x4.75" so I have created a custom page that is 4.75"x9.5". I've set the Top, Bottom, Inside, and Outside margins are set to .25". The gutter = 0". Multiple pages = Book fold. Orientation is Landscape. There are 16 pages, or 4 sheets of paper. When I print the document, I get a message saying "The margins are set outside the printable area of the page." If I continue, the pages print correctly except for an apparent gutter of .75". I'm running Word 2002 sp-1 Any ideas anyone? Thanks, Jeff |

Unless 4.75" x 9.5" is a paper size defined in your printer driver, you may
have to use larger paper, adjusting the margins accordingly, and then cut it down. Note that the "Book fold" setup reverses the Inside and Outside margins (a bug, but the workaround is easy enough--just re-reverse them). -- Suzanne S.
