Office2003 Install: Slip Stream vs. Chain?
What is the best practice to deploy? Is slip-streaming (one updated
install) the way to go, or should I be adding entries in the .INI to chain hotfixes together? I am about to undertake a wide deployment of Office2003 I 'll be using an MSI+MST+setup.ini, and running it from the local desktop (using a remote execute command). The files will get pulled from an admin install point on a central server. Future plans are to install using Active Directory GPO (upgrade in progress). I've read up on both but cannot discern a preference Thanks for any advice/remarks Scott. |
