Default Hyperlinks won't open

All of a sudden, none of the hyperlinks I receive embedded into emails that I
receive in my Outlook 2003 inbox will open. Also, all incoming emails are
received in plain text.

I have checked all settings - even restored them all to original settings.
I have also run Detect and Repair, but nothing fixes these problems.

I am running MS Office 2003, Windows XP-Pro, and Norton Anti-virus 2007
(don't laugh).

Can anyone help with this problem?

"Hyperlinks won't open" is a useless description of the problem. We
can't see your screen from here, so you have to be our eyes and describe
what happens when you click on a hyperlink in Outlook 2003. If you get
an error message, please quote it exactly and completely.

As a wild guess given the dearth of information you provided, possibly
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=310049 "You receive an error message
when you click a hyperlink in Outlook" will apply to your situation.

Default Hyperlinks won't open

The error code I am getting is "General failure".Then it gives the url
to the site I was trying to access then it says "The system cannot
find the file specified."If I copy the link and put it in a browser it
works fine.I didn't have this problem with Outlook 03 just with 07.
