Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Setup Errors
Hello,
I am having trouble uninstalling Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 from my newly purchased laptop. When I first uninstalled this program, my laptop unexpectedly restarted, forcing the uninstallation process of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 to close. When my computer came back on, I went back to uninstall Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 again. However, I encountered a 'setup errors' message that states, "This product installation has been corrupted. Run setup again from the CD, DVD, or other original installation source" when trying to uninstall. The problem is that I do not have a CD or DVD to repair Office 2007 because the program was already in my computer when I purchased my laptop. What should I do to fix the corrupt installation files? -- Thank you. |

Allthough if this is a new PC you could use the recover option to set it back to factory defaults, then uninstall Office - but then why did it restart, maybe theres a problem with your new PC?
