Need Help Please : Microsoft WORD " not responding" and OE FREEZES

I open my OE mail, then open the Word attachment, so far fine.

Then I try to copy the text of the word doc onto another email using
OE that I am about to send....
that's when 2 things happen:

1. my OE FREEZES
2. and it say
Microsoft WORD " not responding"

So I cannot cut and paste the Word doc. The Word doc is only 4 pages
long.

I checked my PC
I have 192 RAM
75% free

I have a Win Me and 20GB and 750 Mhz Intel CPU.

I did a scandisk, defrag and AVG virusscan. Still same problem.

Why is this happening ?

Can anyone pls. help me.

I am NOT TECHNICAL.

Clear the TEMP folder out and then clear the Temporary Internet Files
folder.

Had that problem on a machine a while back and clearing both solved it.
