Default Memo field

I have a memo field in a data base. This field is also incorporated into a
report.
There is ample room to type comments into the memo field, however, when I
run the report, much of the text is missing.
The field included in the report is sized so that all the text should fit.
Could any one enlighten me as to what the problem could be?

Many thanks for any help
