When I open up a message, it appears as the following:
From: Tom ] But I want it to look like : From: Tom Smith Also, when using the preview pane, it appears as: From: Tom Again, I don't want the bracketed parts to show up. Help please? BTW, I'm using Outlook 2002 on a WinXP computer. Thanks in advance. |

How does the sender change his/her format?

As I recall from what some MVP reported in a similar post awhile ago, the bracketed portion is a bug that was introduced in the last service pack for Office. Guess you'll have to wait for the next Office service pack to fix the prior service pack's bugs. -- __________________________________________________ __________ *** Post replies to newsgroup.
