Default Office 2000 Installation Disk Corrupted

I was having problems with Office 2000. I uninstalled it
and was going to reinstall it, but I got an error message
saying that it could not read one of the files on my
disk. I tried cleaning and copying it from another
drive, but I guess that my install disk is corrupted. Is
there a place that I can download the original program
and install it using my original registration number. I
called Microsoft customer support and was told that
Office 2000 was considered an obsolete product and that
the program was not available by disk or download. I
hope that this isn't true, and that there is somewhere
that I can download the file.

You can buy from Ebay or from 1000s of spammers who keep messing me around!!! Or you could go to your local Sunday market where pirates are selling all sorts of software for $10.

You have to remind Microsoft that they are committed to support their products for 10 years from first release so Office 2k is well within this 10 years. I guess M$ revenues have gone down recently so they are trying to push sales of Office 2003 to meet their targets.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!

Support does not mean keeping extra CDs lying around for 10 years.

What kind of virus is the "(insert latest virus name here) virus"?
