2003 Pro validation
I own a fully licensed, full version of Office 2003 Pro. This was previously
installed on a computer running XP. In Feb. 2007 I had to purchase a replacement computer which runs Vista as the OS. I installed Office 2003 Pro without incident and can use all programs without error. However, everytime I try to install an Office update/upgrade I receive a validation error. I assume that this is due to a previous registration of this product on my old computer. I am looking for information on how to get this validated so that I can update/upgrade with downloads as needed. |

2003 Pro validation
Are you getting an activation meessage or a 'Genuine Microsoft Office' validation issue?
Several of the replies were based on looking at Activation. For the Genuine Office Validation issues you may want to look at: http://microsoft.com/genuine/diag/ =========== "Technodi" wrote in message ... 2003 Pro validation
I am not getting an activation message, I am getting a failed validation
error. I have tried reactivating, I get a message that "The product is already active". I have looked at all applicable information that I could find on the validation page, performed any steps suggested there, nothing helped.
