Newsgroups neither Export, nor Import. You can however save
your newsgroup settings. ToolsAccountsNewsExport. Send it to a folder to copy to CD. Copy the CD to your HDD after you reinstall and Import from there. You will have to subscribe to the newsgroups again, but at least the account will already be set up. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP - (IE/OE) ~IB-CA~ "Rena" wrote in message ... You can do a complete transfer by backing up the registry keys and the
message files. See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#6 When you get to the new system, delete the Identities registry key and then merge the one you exported from the other system. steve "Rena" wrote in message ... If you save the settings, when you restore them,
msnews.microsoft.com will appear in the folder tree, but you will have to subscribe to each particular group again. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP - (IE/OE) ~IB-CA~ "Rena" wrote in message ... Yes, you can save the subscribed newsgroups (but not the messages): http://www.insideoe.com/tips/slownews.htm -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP, IE/OE Please respond in Newsgroup only. I'm not sure what you mean, but I think Bruce's answer to your question may
be more appropriate. steve "Rena" wrote in message ... Hi steve, My msg is not clear.
