Default Send To Mail Recipient uses Thunderbird, not OE

OE6 is my default mail client, but when I right-click on a file, then select
Sent To ... Mail Recipient, Thunderbird starts up instead of OE.

How do I get Send To Mail Recipient to use OE instead of Thunderbird? I've
tried several "fixes" I've found, nothing's worked yet.

Give this a try.

Make OE the default e-mail client:
http://www.oehelp.com/oedef.aspx

See this if it still does not set as default:

If you have Mozilla's browser set at default, TB will kick in, no matter how
many times you tell OE to be the default. Try making Firefox your default
browser and then make OE the default mail program.

Tried the following, nothing worked. Send To Mail Recipient still brings up
Thunderbird.

(1) Verified that OE is default Mail handler on General tab (OE, Tools /
Options)

(2) Verified that OE is listed as Email program on Programs Tab (IE,
Internet Options dialog)

(3) Ran "C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg

(4) Verified that

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Clients\Mail\Outlook Express

has DLLPath key, set to c:\program files\Outlook Express\msoe.dll

(5) My default web browser was Maxthon. I set it to OE using by clicking
Reset Web Settings button on IE Options Programs tab.

And Send to Mail Recipient still calls up Thunderbird. Any other
suggestions? Thanks for your help.
