Default Problem with installation of Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007

L.S.

I have problem with re-installing Microfost Office Enterprise 2007. With the
help of Google I discovered that a part of the problem were the remnants of
the former installation that didn't show up in the "Software" window, and I
removed them using Windows Install Cleanup. Now the installation process is
proceeding further that before, but still cancels at a certain point,
restarting the computer doesn't seem to help.

In the "SetupExe"document in my \Temp map the following frase seems to point
at the error in the installation:

Log level changed from: Standard to: Verbose
Error: Failed to configu {90120000-0010-0413-0000-0000000FF1CE}

Office Enterprise is VL version of Office and is available for purchase through
HUP. Once purchased and upon receipt of the Program you are also supplied with a
Telephone Number for free phone support for your version.
Please call the number that was supplied to you with this VL version of Office on
purchase

Hey Troll,

Please stop misinforming Microsoft customers. Office Enterprise in not
a VL version only. I bought it retail version and it was from official
sources. You are spending too much time in your sex business than in
technology matters! Help is available through these newsgroups. If you
can't help and **** off.

Have you tried removing everything from the registry hive manually for
Office 12? Have you got anything else in the Office 2007 family that
actually worked. for example, did you have Outlook 2007? If not then I
suggest delete everything from the registry hive by going to Start run,
Regedit

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Office/12.0
Now delete this completely.

Then launch windows Explorer and then go to:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
Again delete everything.

This should clear most things that affects installations of new
applications.

I suggest first back up the registry before doing anything as if something
goes wrong like you delete the wrong key, your other applications may not
work.

To back registry read this article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322756

caveat
PLEASE NOTE THE ABOVE DOCUMENT IS FOR WINDOWS XP. IF YOU HAVE VISTA OR
WINDOWS 7 THEN SEARCH FOR APPROPRIATE DOCUMENT.

Then contact the IT department of your University because you will need the info
that is going to be asked of you when you call for free phone support on your HUP of
Office Enterprise

You will need the Master license of the download and the customer number of the
University and some few other details

Here you will find the Phone numbers and email addresses as to where and whom to
contact about Office Enterprise and your issue.
Scroll down to the bottom of page to North America
