Default header font color

Is there a way to change the header text to be in black
instead of gray? I tried selecting the text in the
header box and changing the font color, but it still
shows the gray color like the watermark.

Thanks,

If you're referring to the header text appearing to change to gray when
you close the header, that's not a problem... it will print in black or
whatever color you formatted it to be. In page layout view, the
contents of headers and footers are supposed to appear "dimmed" on the
screen.
