Default Update links does not work.

Hi,

I published this thread yesterday into the Chart forum, but I think this
forum is more suitable, also because I did not get any feedback from the
other forum.

I have a WB containing 8 charts that are linked to 4 different source WBs.
Although the links are correct, when I open the WB and the update box
appears, I click OK but it says that some of the links are not correct.
If I go into the Edit links option then check the Status, this is OK, as to
confirm that the links are correct.
Now, I have one thinking on this and I'm looking for confirmation.
In the source WBs, some of the the source WorkSheets are hidden, is this
maybe the reason why the link cannot see them?
If yes, what's the option that allows to see the hidden worksheet?

August 6th - I have unhidden the worksheets, but no change, I really cannot
understand why, I have 4 sources, all of them do not work, I have eliminated
one by one to see if there was one particularly that was creating the problem
but apparently all of them are the problem, or maybe none.
Is there anything generic that I should look at?

Update Remote references is checked.

Thank you
Alex

What happens if you click No to the update links box on opening and
then go into Edit / Links and try Update Now?

I click OK but it says that some of the links are not correct.

What exactly is the message/dialog that appears?
