Default Why have I lost my SAVE AS dialog box to save a file?

I create a WORD document, and try to save it. I click FILE/SAVE-AS... but
instead of getting that dialog box that allows me to select a type of file
(.txt or .doc), and a location to save it .. I get nothing! I have updated
with the latest service packs for word xp and still nothing. I don't even
know if the file saves, or where. It didn't always do this, and I have
uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Same thing. I can't save my documents.
When I try to close the program, it prompts me to save the file, but doesn't
allow me to give it a file name. What is wrong with my WORD ???

If you are running Norton AntiVirus, disable its Office Plug-in.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QWFyZGJlaQ==?=,

My best guess is that there's a macro named FileSaveAs that's kicking in under
certain circumstances. Which version of Word do you have?
