uninstalling office 2007

No, it just reinforces their belief that being a Luddite is a good thing.

Without debating the "enhancements" to Office 2007, how can MSFT think it is
an improvement to take up 30% of your screen with their Office 2007 toolbar/menu area??!! That is just a joke of an "enhancement" and a stupid idea. "Gordon" wrote: "Reba" wrote in message ... That is just a joke of an "enhancement" and a stupid idea. And it doesn't take up "30%" of the screen.....if it does then you've got your resolution incorrect.... |

i totally agree with you I hate it also. Why do they screw with things when
they work? I totally hate the giant toolbars on word. Is 2003 the same as 97? "Reba" wrote: My new computer came with Office 2007, I absolutely HATE it. I have the Office 2003 Professional CD. Can I uninstall 07 and install 2003 in it's place or am I going to have error problems with a newer version being on the computer? Office 97 had an eraser download that allowed the previous version to work correctly. Thanks |

Generally a new PC comes with an Office Trial, you dont have to use it, and
can simply uninstall it and install your retail vesion of office. Though only Office 2003, and above, is fully compatible with Vista "Sewingmom" wrote in message ... i totally agree with you I hate it also. Why do they screw with things when they work?
