Default Total of one cost-field??

I need advice on working with Access 2000.
I've got a database of house repair records stating the cost of each
repair. Am going nuts trying to figure how to add all the records of this
one cost-field to got a total sum of repairs. Can anyone help?

Look up the Dsum Method in help. The following is an=20
example of credit card amounts being totaled from the=20
table "tblCredit_Card_Details" you can output this to a=20
form or report.

DSum("[curCredit_Card_Amount]", "tblCredit_Card_Details")=20

Hope this Helps
