Charts within a Report
I have multiple part numbers and multiple entries for each part number. We
did inventory adjustments at various times for various parts. I have the report grouped on the part number. I want the graph to show me for each part number seperately the date and what the adjustment was. So, for part #XA3 there is a graph that shows me on 1/1/05 we made an adjustment of -45 and then on 6/6/05 we made an adjustment of -10 and then on 10/31/05 we made an adjustment of +15. This is a line graph with the dates across the bottom and the line goes up and down according to what the adjustment is. I want this done seperately for each part number. I know this will take up quite a few pages, but it'll be easy to read. Is this possible to do? I tried doing this and putting the chart into the detail section, but when I looked at it in design view it gives me some weird numbers and dates along with north, south, east and west? When I go to view it in print view then it takes forever and all I get is multiple blank boxes. So, it's not grouping the results into 1 graph and it's not showing anything. Help. Thank you. |

Charts within a Report
Charts are somewhat similar to subreports. You can use the Link Master/Child
properties to filter the display in the chart to a value on the main report. I'm not sure if your chart should be in a group header or the detail section. You might want to also check the ACG Soft website for some tips http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homep...cg/acgsoft.htm -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "Mandy J.S." wrote in message ... Thanks Duane. I put it in the header and hid the detail. It looks great. I
used the web-site and copied the code. Thanks again. Mandy J.S. "Duane Hookom" wrote: Charts are somewhat similar to subreports.
