If you link to the dbase file, it is not saved as an Access table.
If you import it, it should be saved. HTH - Turtle "L. T. Portella" wrote in message et... I have access 2000 and am able to open dbase files but cant save them as Access tables. Can anyone help? thank you |

One way, as given by the message below this, is to click on File in the
menu. Select Get External Data, then Import (NOT Link Table). The wizard will walk you through the rest. HTH - Turtle "L. T. Portella" wrote in message . net... thank you very much.
