Default Junk eMail OE6

I have three email accounts and use to get quite lot of rubbish email
messages.

I changed the "Account Names" leaving
out the eMails addresses as the same.

I mean by "AccountName" is going to Menu
Tools Accounts Mail Tab

select "Account" (1st Col) Properties and
chantge the "MailAccount" from Smith
to John ( may be some unusal name) and do not alter anything else.
Click Apply OK.

It wood appear to me that all those bad
guys have gone away.

I am not an expert and guru of these things.
The result is lot of relief to me .

I would appreciate to have some comments on
this from the well qualified and expert users as
I may be totally wrong?

The name on the email account is only used by your email program to show you
which account.
The account name is not used on the Internet. Changing the account name
will not affect the amount of SPAM that you receive.

What you did had nothing to do with the amount of spam received or not
received.
