Default convert publisher 2000 newsletter to a pdf file

I use publisher 2000 to do a quarterly newsletter - text/graphics - to send
to clients.
I have a website now up and running and would like to be able to download
the newsletter so they can just click and read. The website isn'nt
particularly sophisticated and is managed by myself. Have found it
impossible to copy/paste newsletter.
How do I save the publisher document to be able to do this? Driving me
mad!!!!!

Default convert publisher 2000 newsletter to a pdf file

I'm a Publisher 2000 user with a website that offers newsletters to members.
Here's how.

Create the newsletter with Publisher and save it as a pdf file. Name it
2009_11.pdf
(This would be for issue, Nov 2009 (reasons for this later)
You can use a free pdf creating program named, primopdf which you can
download at,

www.promopdf.com

Create on your ISP server a new folder named newsletters
The folder should be located in the same area as your html files.

Upload your newsletter/s up to the newsletters folder

FileZilla is a great file transfer program (ftp)
Download from

http://sourceforge.net/projects/filezilla/

Now open your Publisher website file.

A location on a website page you can place the following statement,

Get the newsletter here.

With the mouse gather the entire statement or just the word "here".

Select Insert, Hyperlink and type in the box,

http://www.yourwebsite.com/newsletters/2009_11.pdf

OK

Now, File, Save as a website.

Upload the website files using FileZilla

Notes:
The reason for the 2009_11.pdf is if you store all of your monthly
newsletters on the server they will be listed in chronological order.

Again, if you wish all of your newsletters be made available, change the
"here" link to,

http://www.yourwebsite.com/newsletters/

When the link is clicked on it will take you to the list of all the
newsletters.

BTW if you want some help on centering your website, give a yell.

You will need to look for instructions on creating a hyperlink to a document,
which you should be able to find in the program Help or by searching the
Publisher web design section of this forum.

If I recall correctly, Publisher 2000 automatically creates a copy of the
document (the PDF, in this case) in the folder when you publish to the web.
Later version do not.

If you have further questions related to web design, please post them in the
web design newsgroup.
