Default only outlook neglects printer settings

Hi
I use a Toshiba e-2330c department printer, connected to a SBS2003, from a
Windows VB workstation using Office 2007. The printer (driver) is configured
- for billing purposes - to ask for a department code before printing. This
works perfectly for test prints or in all programs like Word, Excel ...
Only in Outlook the question for the department code does not appear. I can
use the standard printer or any other printer driver installed for the
Toshiba (there is PCL6, PS, e-Studio installed) and try to print directly
from the inbox, or open the mail and print then. Whatever I do, as soon as I
press the OK button in the printer dialog, the request for the department
code does not appear, I see the normal "document sent to printer ..." box in
the lower right corner of the monitor and the print job disappears into
nowhere
I use the latest drivers and the latest updates for Office
Any hint would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Chris
