Default Can I install Outlook 2000 alone, when I have office 2007?

I have Office 2000 but have now purchased Office Home and Student- not
realising it doesn't have Microsoft Outlook on it. I need it for my emails
and want to know if I can install just Outlook from the 2000 version? I'm
pretty green on this stuff, so you will have to be very basic about how to do
it, if it is possible please!

If you have an Office 2000 suite, do a custom installation and only select
Outlook to install. Then install your Office 2007 version.

If you are using Windows Vista, you will have issues with the 2000 version.
You may be better off using Windows Mail.
