Using SUM in a MS Word table
See the "Field codes: = (Formula) field" Help topic for information about
the functions that are available in Word (they include SUM and COUNT). You will find the Formula command on the Table menu, but formula fields can be used anywhere in a document (though they're easier to use with table cell references). -- Suzanne S.
