Default Have changes in af drawing to change several places in another dra

Hi,
I have to put several containers(with a certain interiour) into a building
place.
Thes containers should have the same design/interiour, but should be put
different places in the big building area. Therefore I may have to change the
interiour/design of the container during my design of the building area, but
I don't wan't to change it on every container every time I have to make a
small change, so I would like the containers to be related to a kind of
"containerMASTERdrawing", where I can do the changes - and then all of the
containers in the building layout will change.

Look at the drawing's Document Stencil.
menu File - Shapes - Document Stencil

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure exactly what you mean.

I don't want the container to be a shape, because it's af document, which I
make changes in quite often.

I just want to "import" a Visiodrawing(the container) into another
Visiodrawing(the building layout).
When I make changes to the Visiodrawing "container" and then open the
buildinglayout, then all the containers on this drawing should update with
the changes I have made.

Is that possible?

I think what you want to do is to be able to update a master shape
within a stencil then apply those updates to the shapes in your
drawing.
I have a utility that will help you do this
http://www.visio-utilities.sandrila.co.uk/
and look at the shape substitute.

Hi Paul,

No - none of these, but I have solved it some other way.

Thanks a lot.
