Default catalog merge onto custom landscape labels

How do I create a custom label in landscape orientation that will operate
with catalog merge?

Catalog merge is not a label maker, mail merge would be your best route.

Sorry I used the term labels
Did try to do a custom merge.
Am using Publishesr 2003 on XP
The place card paper I am trying to use is 6 up oriented landscape.
Just can't tweak and get the settings to go. Tried til 3 a.m. Now am
desperate!

When you say place card, will they be folded, thus actually having three per
page? What size is your stock? In printer properties setup your page size to
match the dimensions of your place card stock. In the arrange menu match the
margins with the margins on your stock. In the catalog merge, resize the area
so it will have 3 down and one across. Create a text box to fill half the
catalog merge area, insert your data.

In step five, create new publication, if you need the same information on the
back of the card, copy/paste the text box, rotate 180 degrees.
