A1 and B1
Dear all,
I have two cells A1 and B1. B1 takes from A1 If A1$B!b(B zero, I want the real digit in A1 to be presented in B1, but if A1=zero, then I need to put 100% in B1. Is there any specific formula to achieve that? Many thanks in advance |

A1 and B1
hi
you may have a problem. you cann't format B1 to percent or else your whole number in A1 will show up in B1 as a percent. so to get the 100% in B1 if A1 is zero, you would have to enter 100% as text, meaning you can't do mathmatics to it. try this..... =if(A1=0,"100%",A1) post back if problems regards FSt1 "Omar" wrote: Dear all, I have two cells A1 and B1. I'm not completely sure how your cells are set up. What kind of "real digit"
is in A1? Can you give us some examples? Also, regarding the point FSt1 raised... are you doing math elsewhere with the contents of B1? -- Rick (MVP - Excel) "Omar" wrote in message ...
