Default business cards in publisher

I gave you the best advice I know. Try another publication, create a line at the
beginning and end of the page, preferably .5 (this is the business card margin), when
the print is finished, measure the margin.
Maybe an update driver might help, see if the manufacturer's web site has a newer
driver listed.

Paper feed problems? Please understand that I have been printing on plain
paper first, then comparing to the template included with the cards. There
has to be another reason. if i change the vertical gap, that will not
correct the problem consistenly down the page.

This is not a Publisher issue. Your printer is feeding the stock incorrectly. Do
you
have a lever on your printer for heavier stock? Every business card with the
standard
dimensions will print correctly with the measurements 2 x 3.5.
Check out your printer roller.

UPDATE: If you set the top margin at .65 it's not far enough down, so as you
go down the page, the cards are printed closer to the top edge. Set it at
.70 and the last card loses it's border. Can anyone explain why this is such
a challenge to setup?

my margins for someone else who may have the same problem. Is this a
Publisher or Avery issue?

I am trying to make business cards in Publisher 2000 using Avery 8371.
First
of all, there is no option for that template, and secondly I cannot find
anopther one that works. The cards are too high or too low when they
print,
and they do not cover the whole card. I have been working with this for
days
and cannot seem to amke any progress. Does ANYBODY have any helpful
suggestions? I have tried following instruction included in Avery, but it
makes no difference.

Try the free program that Avery supplies.. if that fails to print correctly,
then you have a printer problem..

Thank you all for your help. Our local library offers computer classes, one
of which is Publisher. I contacted them, and with their help resoved the
issue. Not a paper feed problem at all...simply margins. Appreciate the
help!
