Table running over page footer
I have a document with text in both the page header & footer, and all the
body text will be in a table. As I am adding new lines to the bottom of the table it is running over the text in the footer before moving on to the new page. I have tried to adjust my margins (which seemed to be fine anyway) to no avail. I've never seen a table do this before either. I'm using Word 2003 on Windows XP TIA |

Make sure the table has not inadvertently become wrapped (on the Table tab
of Table Properties, check None for text wrapping) and that your settings wrt rows breaking, "Keep with next," etc., are not impeding the flow. -- Suzanne S. Are you adding the lines within the last row and not a new row?
In that case, the problem you see could be caused by a combination of two settings for the row in question: 1. In the Table Properties dialog box Table tab, text wrapping has been set to Around and 2. In the Table Properties dialog box Row tab, “Allow row to breaks across pages” is turned off. -- Regards Lene Fredborg - Microsoft MVP (Word) DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Jaelle" wrote: I have a document with text in both the page header & footer, and all the body text will be in a table. Brilliant, thanks, though it worked when I set it to Text Wrapping "None" -
weirdly it hasn't happened on any other table in the document! "Lene Fredborg" wrote: Are you adding the lines within the last row and not a new row? When you hover the mouse over the top-left corner of a table, a small move
handle appears. You may inadvertently have dragged this handle - this changes the wrapping style from None to Around. -- Regards Lene Fredborg - Microsoft MVP (Word) DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Jaelle" wrote: Brilliant, thanks, though it worked when I set it to Text Wrapping "None" - weirdly it hasn't happened on any other table in the document! Will remember that - it was misbehaving somewhat, resulting in dragging it
about a bit. "Jaelle" wrote: Brilliant, thanks, though it worked when I set it to Text Wrapping "None" - weirdly it hasn't happened on any other table in the document!
