Default 5 minutes away .... Copy group / Paste out of alignment

Ok - I've stumped many users on this. I am trying to paste a group of items
on a timeline into a new page. When I copy the group, and paste into new
sheet, the timeline milestones are not lined up and won't move vertically.

I've tried ungrouping. One box is "locked" but when I try to unlock
(protection, deselect) nothing changes.

Does anyone know a solution so I can move shapes at will?
Thanks so much,
Nancy
