How do I re-install Microsoft Office Professional 2003
I have an OEM and need to re-install. Do I need to do a full system backup
or can I just backup my documents? |

You should backup your .pst file if you use Outlook. Use the search function in Windows XP (enable hidden files and folders) also My Documents folders and any other information you want to keep. If you have the option to do a full system backup you could do both, then choose how you want to import your saved data. Do not import your .pst file. See this article: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...771141033.aspx Likely that your oem version of Office will compress and partition your hard drive so you will end up with less hd space. If you have problems with your oem installation, activation, etc... your support comes from the manufacturer, not MS.
