Default Office 2000 on XP

I am running Office 2000 over a local area network. I am able to have all of
the computers point to a single computers PST file so that all the computers
can share the same calendar. I rencently added a machine running XP. I can
see the pst file but when I try open the file, it is empty and does not have
contacts or calendar events. Any suggestions?
