Default how do i change from read only on files i created?

I created several files on a CD, and the system saved them as Read Only. I
need to change them to RAM. Help!!

Default how do i change from read only on files i created?

Copy the file to the hard drive, if necessary right click on the filename in
Windows Explorer and click on Properties then remove checkmark from Read
Only then OK, open in the program to change files, save back to hard drive
and then burn back to another CD unless that CD is an RW then save the file
back to the same CD.

Any file saved to a CD-R is automatically saved as a read only file and will
not be able to be edited and saved back to the same CD-R. It is unadvisable
to attempt direct reads and saves from and to a RW disk, or any other
removable device, even if you can get it to work.
