Default Office enterprise 2007 installation

I am trying to install enterprise 2007 from disc on a Fujitsu siemens amilo
lap top.
I put the disc in typed in the code and left it to install for over an hour.
The installation bar showed all green but it would not continue almost as
though it was frozen.
If anyone has any ideas I would be really greatful. thanks Mark.

You need to contact your employer's IT department (who sold it to you) or to
Microsoft's web site for help. As this product is only available on Volume
license sales or through an employer's home use licensing program, there are
many pirated or improperly obtained copies out there. Most on these
newsgroups refuse to assist with any Enterprise questions.

Ignore that muppet who has just replied. He has no clue that MS has
started selling Enterprise to ordinary customers who wants to pay.

It looks like you have a bad CD so I suggest download the full version
from MS website. The link is he

http://www.microsoft.com/products/in...c-515a0d152415

I am certain your serial number will work with the downloaded version.
You do need to supply your correct email address so that MS can send you
a trial serial number. YOU don't have to use this serial number though.

Hope this helps.

Excepting your link states 'This product is not available for purchase
directly from Microsoft'
The page gives a further link to Office sba 2007

You are not reading properly or you can't read at all. The link gives
you direct download of Office Enterprise 2007 and you can use your key
with it. I have just downloaded it and I got it. My current machine
has already got Office 2007 Enterprise so I don't want to re-install it
but I am sure I downloaded from the same link and used my own serial
number with it.

There are lots of links on MS website but the original link is for
Enterprise 2007.

Microsoft wants people to buy Office 2007 now as nobody is buying Office
products anymore.

Refuse?

Incapable maybe, but not refuse.

Yes, refuse as:

1 to express oneself as unwilling to accept, or
2 to show or express unwillingness to do or comply with refused to answer
the question

Because "most on these newsgroups" don't advocate piracy of software and
because of the restricted ability for the general population to obtain
"legal" copies of the software, many of the people who ask questions about
Enterprise have purchased the product from improper sources. There is a
defined method to obtain assistance, which I explained to the OP, with that
version which differs from retail or OEM purchases of the other versions of
Office.

For the OP's question, I and many others probably have a solution but as I
stated we refuse to answer questions about Enterprise version of Office.

The exact information that is on the link on how to obtain is:

"How To Buy
Order from Microsoft
This product is not available for purchase directly from Microsoft

Other Purchase Options

Licensing

Microsoft Volume Licensing programs offer companies of all sizes a great way
to obtain and manage multiple software licenses-for as few as five desktops.
You can enjoy significant savings by acquiring product licenses in volume.
For more information, review the available Microsoft Volume Licensing
programs."

You, to be "legal," still need the home use license or a volume license.

As for the direct download, that is for the 60 day trial of Office
Enterprise and if you don't have the proper Enterprise key, obtained from
the sources listed in the licensing documentation, it is a pirated version
of Office. Therefore, my comments to the OP are valid.

You are wrong. Unless you are using a Trial or a Pirated version of Office
Enterprise
