Office 2007 Templates
No matter how I install Office 2007 (telling it not to install templates
during a custom installation) I still get that whole list of templates when I open a new document. We use lots of custom templates here and it would be nice to reduce the clutter if I could remove: The installed templates All the on line "Microsoft Office Online" templates (there is a whole list that starts with Featured, Agendas, Award Certificates, Brochures............. All I need is to show the templates that I install in the "My Templates" folder. Can this be done? Thank you in advance. |

Office 2007 Templates
Document files have a .DOC or DOCX extension. Templates have a .DOT or .DOTX
extension. You can delete the template files EXCEPT YOU MUST NOT DELETED Normal.DOT or Normal.DOTX. You can also put your own template files into a unique tab so that File New brings up the dialog box with the template files, and your templates can be separated from the herd.
