Addressbook when creating labels does not show some entries

This is very strange and appears to be random.
Office 2007 fully patched and up to date.
When creating a label, I click on the Addressbook icon and occasionally,
addresses that I can see in Contacts and are very definitely there, do NOT
show up in the Addressbook for inserting addresses. These do have an address
and the "This is the Mailing Address" box is checked.

Can anyone throw any light on why this should be?

Try deleting the address book from Outlook (not the Contacts list!) then add
it back again. This should rebuild the connections.
