Records With Duplicate Values
I am trying to create a report that will provide operator activity. To get
all the information, I have linked four tables. I am reporting the statistics grouped by Operator ID and summing the numbers in the activity columns. However, I end up with multiple records with the same values per operator ID and that messes up my sums. How do I stop this? (If it makes a difference, I have access to the data and to MS Access to create queries/reports but am not permitted to change the tables or the formats of the data). |

You may want to try a Totals Query. Since I do not know your fields or data,
you will have to experiment with the Group By, Sum, First of, etc in the query in order to get the results you are looking for but this will combine records to avoid duplicates. What is a Totals Query? I am unfamiliar with what you suggest.
