Default Inviting Outlook 2000 attendees with Outlook 2003 to meetings

When invitiations are sent, the resulting email received
by the 2000 users is jibberish; close reading can reveal
when the intent of the email was...

Is there anything I can do to make these two versions
work together when using the "Invite Attendee" to
meetings when using the Outlook 2003 calendar?

I imagine that what you perceive as "gibberish" is actually a perfectly
constructed iCalendar meeting request. Outlook 2000, unfortunately, can't
handle iCal items with reminders. So, tell the Outlook 2003 users to turn
off reminders or contact Microsoft Support to get the iCal hotfix for
Outlook 2000.
