"Select Names" lists by First Name
Running Outlook 2000.
Somehow, my contacts, which are sorted ascending by last name, started showing up in the "Select Names" box sorted by first name when I click "To" when trying to address a new email. So, when I type the last name of the addressee in the white box to the left of the "Find" button, the contact does not come up; first names come up. What's the fix? Thanks, in advance. Bob Adler |

Post your correct Outlook version and mail support mode.

Russ, I am using Outlook 2002 and have the same issue. Display is fine under Contacts, but when using the drop-down "To:" box, the names are First, Last. The remedy you cite for 2000 is what I'm looking for, but cannot find in 2002.
Please advise. Thanks in advance for the help. |
