"Identity Switch cancelled"?
Outlook
The full error message reads: The current identity could not be changed because one of the applications was unable to switch. Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again. I receive this message upon log in and when tring to import addresses from my old computer. Any suggestions? |

This does not sound like an Outlook message. Only Outlook Express uses

But I've been trying to solve this identity issue in Outlook 2003 at the site I work at. I have at least 10 cases of this. Though I suspect it has something to do with users upgrading from Outlook 2000.
