Install Office XP on My Laptop?
I have a fully-registered version of Office XP Small
Business on my desktop. I'd like to now install it on my just-purchased laptop, as per Microsoft's regulations, for my own exclusive use: From: http://www.microsoft.com/piracy/basi...tion/mpafaq.as p "The underlying principles of Microsoft's software licenses have not changed. Microsoft's End User License Agreements (EULAs) have always stipulated the number of PCs that software can be installed on. Product Activation does not change that. Office XP or Office 2003 may be installed on one PC. The primary user of Office may also install one copy on a laptop computer for their exclusive use." Does anyone know how I'd go about that? I'm being asked for my Confirmation ID: Do I need to phone in again? Thanks. |

Install Office XP on My Laptop?
Office XP Small Business Edition was OEM only version. Therefore, it cannot
be installed on any system other than the one on which it came preinstalled. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
