Default "Identity Switch cancelled"?

Outlook

The full error message reads:

The current identity could not be changed because one of the applications
was unable to switch.
Close any open dialog boxes in other applications before trying again.

I receive this message upon log in and when tring to import addresses from
my old computer. Any suggestions?

This does not sound like an Outlook message. Only Outlook Express uses
identities.

No... But I've been trying to solve this identity issue in Outlook 2003
at the site I work at. I have at least 10 cases of this. Though I
suspect it has something to do with users upgrading from Outlook 2000.
Could there be User Identity incompatibilites between the 2 versions of
Outlook?
